BATON ROUGE, Louisiana: Authorities stated that Greg Lawson, who fled his 1991 trial in Louisiana for tried homicide 32 years in the past, has been arrested after he was discovered hiding in Mexico.
The FBI stated that Lawson, 63, was returned to the U.S. final week after being situated in Mexico, the FBI stated.
KSLA reported that Lawson, accused of taking pictures a person in 1991 in Bienville Parish, fled the courthouse simply because the jury was headed again into the courtroom to return a responsible verdict on a cost of tried homicide.
“The three-decades-long seek for a person convicted of tried homicide is over, because of a tip obtained by #FBINewOrleans. This morning, 63-year-old Greg Lawson is again in a Louisiana jail awaiting motion by Bienville Parish authorities,” the FBI said.
