Mumbai: MDMA tablets worth Rs 15.42 lakh seized, One drug peddler arrested

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 29 (ANI): A drug peddler was arrested in Mumbai for allegedly carrying MDMA (Methyl8203;enedioxy 8203;methamphetamine) price Rs 15.42 lakh, police mentioned on Thursday. “ANC Mumbai Police arrested one Celebration drug peddler with MDMA tablets ( methylenedioxy methamphetamine) of price Rs 15.42 lakh. The accused is a commerce graduate with no earlier legal file discovered but,” Anti Narcotics Cell Department mentioned.

Police mentioned that medicine have been seized and a case has been registered on this matter.

Additional investigation is underway.

Earlier in an operation carried out by the Mumbai police on Thursday, medicine price Rs 31 lakh had been seized from Mumbai’s Mankhurd space below the Trambe police station, with the arrest of two accused, the police mentioned on Thursday.

In line with the police, the medicine weighing six Kilogrmas are price Rs 31 lakh within the worldwide market.

The accused had been recognized as Nadeem Mohammad Idris Shah and Akshay Lakshman Vaghmare.

A case has been registered in opposition to the 2 accused below the Narcotic Medication and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) at Mumbai’s Trambe police station. (ANI)
